Kofola (formerly Santa Nápoje, formerly SP Vrachos) is a Czech beverage group operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, Austria and Hungary. The group produces in eight plants, e.g. in Krnov, Rajecká Lesná and Radenci. Kofola is a carbonated soft drink of the cola type, which was created in 1959 in Czechoslovakia as an alternative to the then unavailable competing drinks Coca-Cola or Pepsi. The drink is produced by the Czech company Kofola a.s.
